My name is Sabine Amory and I live near Toulouse, in Southern France. At the age of 8, I received an amethyst from Puy de Dôme as a gift: fascinated by this stone, I started my own collection. Year after year, this fascination turned into a true passion. A few years later, I decided to fully dedicate myself to mineralogy and to make a living of it.

Today, I travel around the world seeking the finest minerals. Several times a year, I have the pleasure to do so in wonderful regions: Tunisia, Romania, India...
Lately, Namibia became my favorite destination. Not only does it have a great variety of minerals, but it also possess wonderful landscapes, which I invite you to discover in my pictures galleries.

It is most important for me to get my minerals at their source and to meet the people who collect them. Of course, it is not always possible and the best mineral exhibitions, like Munich and Sainte Marie aux Mines, also offer nice opportunities to get some new specimen.
I have been participating in the Tucson Mineral Show (Arizona, USA) for 15 years now, one of the best place to meet many specialists in Mineralogy coming to share and sell their collection. You can also see me in many mineral shows organized here in France.
